Finding your dream job can be a mystery and landing that dream job seems even more unreal; however, reflecting on your wants and needs first will help you take action for the future. Your dream job is attainable. You just have to understand what it means to you and create the steps to get there.
Look at your passions. Everyone has more than a few passions. Do you like to write? Bake? Design websites? Make a list of 5-15 passions and google each one. Browse and see what you come up with. Note what others are doing with their passions.

Look at your work habits. What type of schedule works best for you? Do you like social settings? Do you prefer in-person meetings to email updates? Are you most creative in the early hours of the morning? Also, to figuring out what works best for you, consider which jobs you loved and didn’t love in the past. Narrow down what you like most about each job and the cons that you didn’t like.
Envision your dream job. What does your ideal day look like? Ideal week? What are you happiest doing? And how can you make money doing it? Look at what that job looks like to you and discover if you can find that working for someone else or yourself.
Take action. Start networking in person and online with people in the career field you’re interested in pursuing. Research and see what positions are available. Begin the job hunt and set goals for yourself. How many applications will you fill out a week? Which companies are at the top of the list? Start small, if you need to with temp positions, short term work, or internships, remote or location-based.
